UK Network Operators' Forum - Sponsorship

Currently there are two ways you can sponsor UKNOF:

• As a subscriber sponsor, this involves a cash or in-kind contribution to support UKNOF of at least £1000 per year on an ongoing basis. This permits the sponsor to be invited to sit on the UKNOF Funding Council, and due recognition on the UKNOF website. Subscriber sponsors help underwrite UKNOF's activities, and oversee and steer its activities and direction.

• As a vendor sponsor, contributing towards the cost of a specific UKNOF meeting.
  Benefits we can offer you as a meeting sponsor include:

  • access for a number of members of your team to the attendees throughout the day's event, including lunch/coffee breaks

  • ability to set up a table display and distribute literature and promotional material

  • logo recognition on the UKNOF website and acknowledgment during the meeting and on our 400-member mailing list

  • possibility to host an evening social event for meeting attendees

  • option to logo-brand attendee badges, t-shirts etc

UKNOF meetings take a whole day and comprise a range of technical presentations of interest to network operators, regularly bringing in international speakers for a UK audience. We have made a point of reaching out to participants who are not always able to attend other less open UK Internet industry events, and have at least one meeting per year outside London. They are also often webcast to remote participants.

Agendas, presentations and attendee lists for previous meetings are on our website at http://www.uknof.org.uk so you can get an idea of the kind of event and audience we have. We have some 400 members on our mailing list, and typically there are about 60-80 attendees at each meeting, generally technical decision makers from a broad range of UK ISPs and other data/ethernet/VoIP network operators, people often quite difficult to reach by other means.

We run 3 events a year, current planned meetings are:

• UKNOF10, April 2008 (Wolverhampton)
• UKNOF11, September 2008 (London)
• UKNOF12, January 2009 (TBC)

There are two levels of possible sponsorship:

• at least £1000 contribution to the catering etc costs of the meeting in conjunction with other sponsors
• covering the entire meeting costs on an exclusive basis for £5000.
  This includes the opportunity to make a technical presentation during the meeting.
