We have a new website!
Our new website uses our new logo and colours. It also gives us the opportunity to do more. We can quickly create pages, events, and blog posts. It’s a new tool to deliver on the original mission, the “distribution of clue.” It will let us provide a platform for people in the community to share their experience with an interested audience between UKNOF events.
This means UKNOF can now engage with our community in four ways:
- Blogs
- Events
- Instant chat
- Mailing list
The new website only has our new content. Importing all the content from the old site and wiki was not possible for this launch. But the old site is not lost. It remains archived and will remain available until the content is moved to its new home.
We have an extensive archive of events. Information about agendas, attendees and more can be found on our Indico event management site. Video records of events since 2013 can be found on YouTube.
Who is UKNOF for in 2024?
Who is UKNOF for in 2024? UKNOF is on pause while the community brainstorms its future. This is a start to a discussion about who UKNOF needs to serve in the future.

UKNOF51 Event Report
Around 90 people met in Manchester at UKNOF51 on Monday and Tuesday 3rd and 4th April 2023. This was our first multi-day event. In 2023 we are running two, two-day UKNOF events instead of three one-day events. There were also around 30 remote participants using Zoom, submitting questions in Mattermost.
13 speakers presented on a variety of Internet operations topics. We also programmed plenty of time for people to speak with each other.
