UKNOF48 at Manchester Central will be a great opportunity to meet industry colleagues in an informal setting. We have published a list of everyone who is registered to attend on site.
As this is the first in-person event since UKNOF45, the Programme Committee has programmed slightly longer sessions breaks than usual. We hope this will give people more time to refresh their relationships with friends and colleagues.
Hot drinks will be provided during all the breaks. Those who ordered one will be getting a boxed lunch. Those who did not order a boxed lunch are welcome to bring sandwiches with them.
Thursday’s Pints ‘n’ Packets social event will have a cash bar. And while it is not a part of the formal agenda, it is expected people will be organising a curry (or other) night.
The full agenda is on our Indico site. Some of the highlights include:
- WFH is a nice idea, but” by Cathy Almond
- Hands-on Learning: Virtual IPv6 Security Lab Environment” by Ondřej Caletka
- “An evolution of the Network Engineer” by Elena Sanchez and Jose Leitao
- The UKNOF Annual Meeting will take place on the afternoon of Friday, 19 November.
Free registration is free until 23:59 UTC on Wednesday, 10 November! After that, registration will cost £50 +VAT and Eventbrite fees.
As we previously communicated, you’ll need to show proof of vaccination via an NHS app. International equivalents will also be accepted. People who cannot demonstrate proof of vaccination will be turned away.
The venue is well ventilated with air drawn from outdoors and has demonstrated that it meets both CIBSE and HSE requirements.
We strongly encourage everyone attending to take a free Lateral Flow Test before they arrive, and stay away if they test positive for COVID-19. Similarly, we encourage people to wear a mask during formal meeting sessions, and to comply with any other venue safety measures.
