UKNOF51 Event Report

Around 90 people met in Manchester  at UKNOF51 on Monday and Tuesday 3rd and 4th April 2023. This was our first multi-day event. In 2023 we are running two, two-day UKNOF events instead of three one-day events. There were also around 30 remote participants using Zoom, submitting questions in Mattermost.

13 speakers presented on a variety of Internet operations topics. We also programmed plenty of time for people to speak with each other.

Speak at UKNOF51 in Manchester

UKNOF51 is taking place on the 3rd and 4th of April 2023 in Manchester and the Call for Presentations (CfP) is now open. UKNOF looks for talks that provide ‘clue’ to the industry, so if you are working on something interesting or you know someone who is, there’s a potential speaking slot available for you and or them. Speakers can present over the Internet if they cannot be in Manchester.

About 100 people met in London at UKNOF50 on Thursday, 22 September 2022. Another dozen people participated online and engaged with industry colleagues using our Mattermost server. This was another hybrid event. Most speakers presented in London with some joining over the Internet. 11 speakers presented on a variety of Internet operations topics. We also programmed plenty of time for people to speak with each other.

Our primary mission is "distribution of clue". Our mailing list and meetings exist as an open environment which encourages information sharing and learning, to build an inclusive and welcoming community between the people who run the UK's IP networks.
