Meeting Roadmap

UKNOF currently runs two main meetings per year – generally in April and September – around the UK. There are also plans to run “UKNOF On The Road” meetings in collaboration with other organisations.

For 2023, the meeting roadmap currently looks like:

• UKNOF51 –  3rd & 4th April – Manchester
• UKNOF52 – 27th & 28th September – London

UKNOF may also have “On The Road” and Online-only meetings.

A Note About Sponsor Presentations

UKNOF meetings have the following limit on sponsor presentations:

Maximum 3 sponsor presentations per day
and

Maximum 40-50 minutes in total per day

This translates as follows:

50 minutes in total

2 x 25 minutes presentations
1 x 20 minutes and 2 x 15 minutes presentations

45 minutes in total

3 x 15 minutes presentations
1 x 25 minutes and 1 x 20 minutes presentations

40 minutes in total

1 x 25 minutes and 1 x 15 minutes presentations
2 x 20 minutes presentations

All Sponsor Presentation slots are on a first come first served basis.

Although it is expected that a sponsor presentation is to be a sales or promotional pitch, the best way to reap the most benefit from the sponsorship is to target the presentation to the audience. In our experience, an out-and-out blatant sales pitch will turn the audience off. However, giving an interesting technical presentation that has a sales or promotional element to it will most likely keep the audience engaged and asking questions to find out more.

Individual Meeting Sponsorship

Various sponsorship opportunities exist, each with different levels of benefits. Sponsorships contribute toward meeting running costs. All sponsorship amounts listed are subject to applicable UK VAT (currently 20%).

All sponsorship categories listed below allow for multiple sponsors per meeting. If you are interested in sole-sponsorship then please contact us.

UKNOF appreciates the support of the sponsors regardless of whichever meeting sponsorship level is chosen.

These opportunities are tied to a single meeting, and unless otherwise specified as an option allowing co-sponsors, are listed with Individual Company sponsor pricing. We offer discounts for multiple consecutive meeting sponsorships. Please email sponsor@uknof.org.uk to discuss this.

General Brand Awareness Benefits

In addition to the distinctive benefits received based on Sponsorship category, all Sponsors receive the following:

• logo on the meeting micro-site linked to your own website
• logo and text on sponsors page on the meeting micro-site
• logo on the webcast rolling static slides, and on applicable slides during the meeting
• logo on meeting event banners
• recognition on our mailing list and social media channels
• public acknowledgment during the meeting proceedings

Note for all Deluxe sponsor benefits and options: Badges and co-branded lanyards will be produced by UKNOF. T-shirts, floor standing banners, literature, promotional items and shipping to the meeting venue are the responsibility of the sponsor.

ASSOCIATE – £3500

Standard Associate Sponsor Benefits (along with the Brand Awareness Benefits listed above):

• 2 complimentary meeting registrations (£400 value)

  • per additional wide floor standing banner (£400 supplement)

You may opt to be an Associate sponsor in any one of the following four ways:

(i) Meeting Associate sponsorship

• multiple available per meeting.

  • distribute one piece of literature and small promotional item at the registration desk
• Optional Extras (£600 each):
  • exhibition table in sponsors area for sponsor to exhibit products and distribute one piece of literature and small promotional item instead of at registration desk

(ii) Coffee Breaks sponsorship

• three (3) available in total (1 sponsorship per break) per meeting
• duration of coffee break – 30 minutes. Exhibitor time max 1 hour

(iii) Lunch sponsorship

• two (2) available in total (2 sponsorships per lunch) per meeting.
• duration of lunch – approx 1.5 hours. Exhibitor time max 2 hours.

(iv) Pints n’ Packets Exhibitor sponsorship

This is the UKNOF Social Networking Event which takes place as soon as the meeting ends

• duration approx 2 hours

  • opportunity to distribute literature and promotional items on exhibition table

CONTRIBUTOR – minimum £1500

This level is the minimum commitment to support a UKNOF meeting through sponsorship and £1500 is the suggested minimum sponsorship, however you may contribute more.

In addition to the Brand Awareness Benefits received in all Individual Meeting Sponsorship categories, all Contributor sponsors also receive additional benefits outlined below.

(i) Meeting Contributor sponsorship

  • UKNOF will purchase some prize of a retail value of £100 from your Contributor sponsorship funds. If you wish for the prize to be of a higher value you may increase the value of your sponsorship

(iii) Meetup Station sponsorship

• one (1) available per meeting
• Additional Benefit:
  • This meetup banner is used for everyone who needs a designated meeting place. It is tall and stands out with the UKNOF logo and colours. Let’s add your name and logo to it

(iv) Pints n’ Packets Contributor sponsorship

This is the UKNOF Social Networking Event which takes place as soon as the meeting ends multiple available per meeting
